Every time I watch a video of this human, it makes my heart soar, I get goosebumps and love what they do with music and the audience. For this video though, its not just the audience participation its with the orchestra too. I don’t know what rehearsals they’ve done for this, but the connection he has with them feels so genuine and earnest. He really wants this, he’s happy for this.
Its been a while since I did my last blog and its not because I don’t have anything to say, I could “talk the hind legs off a donkey” (as they say), but finding the space and courage to put myself out there is my own battle. My preference in the past has been connections in a 1:1 environment, which of course suits my work, but since living abroad, building connection and reaching out, a little like Jacob Collier, is what I need to do to reach more people. So here I am, reaching out.
